Frost Flowers are made from thin ribbons of extruded ice crystals. They form on certain weeds when temperatures are in the upper twenties. Ideal is between thirty-one and twenty-seven degrees. The wind must be calm. The slightest touch will destroy one. Anything such as an animal brushing one will shatter it. Few people ever see them. They generally form at night and vanish when the warm morning sun touches them.
